Curious objects, made and remade by hand.
Small objects from a Lakewood, Colorado studio. Pendants and earrings, planters and vessels, painted skulls and other curiosities, for shelves, cabinets, and quietly haunted corners.
Objects with a past. Materials with another life.
Found objects, printed forms, and salvaged materials are transformed with paint, patina, and gilding, drawing on natural history, illuminated manuscripts, reliquaries, and Gothic ornament. The work is made to feel discovered rather than newly made.
Selected Objects
A changing collection of jewelry, vessels, and curiosities, each with its own mix of printed, found, and salvaged parts.

Collected Adornments
Pendants and earrings built from printed forms, found elements, beads, and hand-painted detail.

Curiosities
Painted skulls, sculpted creatures, and framed assemblages, no two finished alike.

Patinated Vessels
Ornamental printed planters finished by hand in verdigris, bronze, and deep blue patina.
From form to finish
Each object begins differently, but most pass through the same three stages.
Form & Salvage
Printed forms, found objects, and salvaged materials provide the structure and starting point.
Surface & Patina
Paint, metallic accents, gilding, and layered patina give each piece depth, age, and variation.
Assembly & Finish
Components are assembled, adjusted, sealed, and finished by hand so each object remains slightly individual.
